In response to the rapidly aging population of New Zealand, ONZ has collaborated with the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and the health sector to develop a world class approach to the prevention of secondary fragility fractures. This briefing document also introduces a new strategy Stronger Together: A Collaborative Strategy for Bone Health in New Zealand, a comprehensive national strategy to optimise bone health throughout the life course that will be launched in 2025.
