Personal donations

Osteoporosis NZ is the only national organisation in New Zealand specifically committed to improving the lives of people living with osteoporosis, and preventing the fractures it causes.

As a registered charitable trust, we are reliant on donations to make our vision of better bones and fewer fractures a reality for all New Zealanders.

Donations from individuals and corporations will be used to support our programmes of awareness, advocacy and education, to prevent fractures caused by osteoporosis.

The care of people who are living with osteoporosis in New Zealand is improving, but there is still much to be done.

With your help, Osteoporosis NZ  will be able to make osteoporosis care in New Zealand truly world class.

Bequests – A Gift in your Will

Making a gift in your will to Osteoporosis New Zealand is a way of making a difference to the health of many thousands of New Zealanders in the future. It will prevent pain and suffering from broken bones and enable us to ensure valuable research into osteoporosis continues.

Your gift can be directed to a project, research work or for the general work of Osteoporosis New Zealand and we would be happy to help you decide how your bequest could best meet your wishes.

We recommend you seek professional advice when drawing up your will and suggest the following wording:

I give to Osteoporosis New Zealand for the general (or specific) purposes of Osteoporosis New Zealand the residue of my estate (or the sum of $……….) and I declare that the receipt of a proper officer of Osteoporosis New Zealand shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.

We will ensure your money is used as you have asked in benefiting people affected by osteoporosis.
